ODCO signs three strategic partnership agreements
ODCO signs three major partnership agreements to enhance inclusion, digitalization, and governance within the cooperative sector
The Office of Cooperation Development (ODCO) signed three important partnership agreements on Tuesday, April 26, 2026, as part of the National Week of the Social and Solidarity Economy, held under the High Patronage of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, may God assist Him.
These agreements fall within ODCO’s ongoing efforts to strengthen institutional cooperation and support the development of the cooperative sector in Morocco.
In this framework, the first agreement was signed with the National Agency for the Fight Against Illiteracy (ANLCA). It aims to reduce illiteracy among populations linked to cooperatives, with particular attention given to women, youth, as well as rural and peri-urban communities.
The second agreement was concluded with the Digital Development Agency (ADD). It seeks to support the digital transformation of the cooperative sector by assessing cooperatives’ digital maturity and implementing tailored digital capacity-building pathways.
The third agreement was signed with Al Akhawayn University in Ifrane (AUI). It concerns the implementation of the “Tawyenun” program on a pilot basis in the Ifrane province, focusing on supporting cooperatives in market access, digitalization, and governance improvement.
Through these strategic partnerships, ODCO reaffirms its commitment to building a more inclusive, innovative, and efficient cooperative ecosystem, contributing to sustainable economic and social development in Morocco.
