The Office of Cooperation Development (ODCO) marked the 17th edition of the Agdal-Riyad Spring Festival, held on Monday, July 23, 2024, by actively participating in the launch of the cooperatives exhibition. Organized by the Agdal-Riyad District Council, this event put Rabat in the spotlight as a “land of lights and cultural intermingling.”

The Agdal-Riyad Spring Festival has become a must-attend event on the capital’s cultural calendar. This year once again, it attracted a large audience with a rich and varied program: cooperatives exhibition, artistic performances, creative workshops, thematic exhibitions, and more. The goal of the festival being  to foster intercultural dialogue, promote local heritage, and strengthen the sense of belonging to the territory. By participating in the cooperatives exhibition, ODCO demonstrated its commitment to local economic development and the social and solidarity economy, offering cooperatives a platform to market their products.

This initiative highlighted the craftsmanship of artisans and the products of cooperatives, while providing a direct sales platform for consumers.

It should be noted that the program of this 17th edition is particularly rich and varied. In addition to the cooperatives exhibition, visitors were able to discover a range of activities from visual arts to traditional crafts, as well as poetry evenings and artistic performances.

These ten days of festivities, which ended on July 30, offered the public a comprehensive overview of local artistic creations.
