Launch of a national competition to support collective cooperatives in Morocco

The Office of Cooperation Development and the Directorate of Rural Affairs at  the Ministry of Interior are launching a National Competition to Support  Collective Cooperatives in Morocco :  

In a significant step towards empowering collective communities and fostering cooperative  initiatives, the Directorate of Rural Affairs at the Ministry of Interior, in collaboration with the  Office of Cooperation development has announced a competition aimed at awarding and  supporting the best cooperative projects. 

This initiative is designed to encourage collective cooperatives with project ideas to join  forces and contribute to the growth of the cooperative sector. The competition is open to all  collective cooperatives and project idea holders who aspire to engage in collaborative work  and create sustainable opportunities for their communities.

Objective of the Competition 

The primary goal is to identify and reward the most innovative and impactful cooperative  projects initiated by members of collective communities. Whether it’s an established  cooperative or a promising project idea, this platform seeks to highlight efforts that  demonstrate potential for economic and social transformation. 

Interested cooperatives and project idea holders are invited to submit their applications by  completing the official participation form. An opportunity to showcase their vision, creativity,  and commitment to the cooperative movement. 

This competition underscores the moroccan government’s commitment to encouraging  innovation, and supporting inclusive development across Morocco.
