Madam Aicha Errifaai, the General Manager of the Office of Cooperation Development (ODCO), participated in the conference of the Arab Cooperative Union held at its headquarters in Cairo, Egypt, from February 7th to February 10th.

The conference of the Arab Cooperative Union, hosted in Cairo, Egypt, from February 7th to February 10th, marked a significant moment. This esteemed gathering provided an opportunity for the General Director of the Office of Cooperation Development in Morocco to engage with prominent figures in the cooperative sphere, including Mr. Ahmed Abdeddaher Othman, President of the General Union of Cooperative and the Arab and African Cooperative Union, and Mr. Hamdi Ahmed, the General Secretary of the Arab Cooperative Union.

Throughout the event, discussions on crucial topics such as the effectiveness of cooperatives in crisis management and the intricate dynamics between accelerators and decelerators within cooperatives were deeply explored. Madam Aicha Errifaai also had the distinction of chairing the second work session, which focused on accelerators and decelerators of development within cooperatives. Notably, this session underscored the importance of “cooperation among governments for faster development of the cooperative sector” as a key recommendation.
