True to its purpose, this annual gathering, organized since 2022 by the Abdelkader Bensalah Foundation, once again fostered debate and collective intelligence to strengthen the role of the third sector in co-constructing a more inclusive and resilient economy.
This edition brought together the knowledge and expertise of some with the skills and experience of others. The Forum also featured a panel of decision-makers, including Ms. Aicha Errifaai, Ms. Saâdia Slaoui Bennani of the General Confederation of Moroccan Enterprises (CGEM), Asmaa Diyani of the Moroccan Network for Social and Solidarity Economy (REMESS), and Mr. Tarik Maaroufi, Director of the Abdelkader Bensalah Foundation.
Discussions focused on the fundamental role of the third sector in Morocco’s history as a key actor in addressing social and environmental issues. Participants also highlighted the challenges facing sector actors in an ever-evolving environment marked by technological innovations and demographic changes. These challenges, they emphasized, require third-sector organizations to “redefine their roles and methods to remain at the forefront of social progress and continue contributing to the country’s socioeconomic development.”
